COMMUNICATIONS

Membership: Chairperson, current and former Elders, and church members

Staff Liaison: Pastor, Associate Pastor

The Communication Committee was established by the session to enhance the mission of First Presbyterian Church, to disseminate current events and information with regards to the ministry and programs of First Presbyterian Church, and to be more readily accessible to the congregation as a whole, to the public and potential new members. It was determined that there were areas that the church needed to improve upon in its communications as a church body. They included:

1. To update and modify of our website with more readily available access to the members and the public at large.

2. To identify who we are at First Presbyterian Church and what we believe, which is that we are followers of Jesus Christ and believers in the Gospel.

3. To work on other areas of communication within the church and within the general public, including our newsletter and additional communication avenues around the church property.
