DONATION NEEDS

 

FIRST CHURCH FOOD PANTRY - Please consider a special gift to the First Church Food Pantry. Our requests for food have increased. A gift of cash or any non-perishable food item (examples: peanut butter, jelly, tuna, rice, hearty soup, beef stew, canned vegetables or fruit, juice, cereal, powdered milk) will enable First Presbyterian Church to continue helping at a time when the need is greater than has ever before experienced. Food items can be placed in the baskets located in the narthex, by the elevator or dropped off at the church office.

LIGHTHOUSE CENTER - The Lighthouse Center, on 18th Street, provides a place to wash clothes, take showers, and receive mail and phone calls to our neighbors who need jobs and homes. The center is gearing up for the winter shelter program and could use the following items: Travel size soap and shampoo, razors, lotion, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. Laundry detergent is a huge need as are white socks for men and women, clean used towels and wash clothes, blankets(winter season only), and t-shirts in a variety of sizes. (Used clean items are welcome) You can bring any of these items to the narthex or to the church office.
