FAIN ORGAN

A Legacy of Sacred Music
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts unto God. And whatsoever ye do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him". Colossians 3: 16 - 17
Sacred music has been important to the congregation of First Presbyterian Church since the first bricks for the sanctuary were laid in 1957. Our old Wicks organ had been the foundation of our music program for nearly fifty years. Building on this tradition and looking to the needs of future congregations, the magnificent Fain Family Organ, Opus 2225, built and installed by the Reuter Organ Company and dedicated November 6, 2005, not only enhances the worship experience of our current congregation but also meets the challenge of providing for future generations, thus continuing our legacy of sacred music.
