MEN'S GROUPS

Men's Breakfast/Bible Study

Each Tuesday morning at 7:30, a loosely organized group of twenty to twenty-five men meet in Stanton Hall for breakfast, fellowship, and Bible study, not necessarily in that order! The group is open to anyone and even includes some Methodists and Episcopalians. The meal is followed by a study of the Bible. On the Tuesday following the monthly Session meeting, someone reviews what took place at that meeting. This is a really good way to keep up with church activities. The meeting never goes past 8:30 a.m. The meal is prepared by the men themselves and is quite good considering the lack of female assistance! The cost is five dollars. About three dollars cover the cost of the meal. The rest goes into an account which is used to fund church projects and benevolence. The group also undertakes a number of projects, such as the blood drives and the Christmas food baskets. Please consider joining our group.
