MEXICO MISSION

The mission team for the summer 2007 mission trip to Ocosingo, Mexico, has returned. Members and friends of First Presbyterian worked with and among the indigenous people of the state of Chiapas, including Ros Willis (Edler), Geroge Darden, Jackie DuVall, Donna McCauley (Elder) Carol Darden, Miles Morin, Randy DuVall (Elder), Becky Ratliff, Jen Darden, and Chet Mayo.

The group assited with the construction of a health clinic under construction through Hebron USA in Ocosingo, leading bible school activities and worshipping in the villages around Ocosingo. the group stayed at the bible college in Ocosingo.
A hearty thanks to the members of the congregation who generously contributed toward the cost of the trip. Each mission team member paid for their own airfare and the rest of the cost of the trip, $4,000, was contributed.
The members of the mission team were excited to serve as representatives of First Presbyterian Church in Mexico, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and demonstrating His love in service to the people surrounding Ocosingo. Nosotros vamos para Jesuchristo!
