SANDWICH SUNDAY OUTREACH MINISTRY

Each day, more and more men, women and children don't have enough to eat. Jobs have been lost or hours cut back, rent and gas prices keep increasing, and there often isn't enough money left at the end of the month. The Outreach Committee invites you to help ease the suffering caused by hunger. On Sunday, September 25th, following the 11:00 a.m. worship service, all hands are needed in Stanton Hall to assemble bag lunches for immediate distribution. The lunches that are put together on "Sandwich Sunday" will be set out on outdoor tables at the Judeo-Christian Outreach Center for anyone who might find their pockets empty at the end of the month. The need for food assistance has never been greater. As established food resources become strained, it's up to all of us to lend a hand. All ages are welcome and encouraged to participate in this new ministry at First Presbyterian!
