MUSIC CONCERTS- 2008

February 24th, 3:00p.m. - Symphonicity, The Symphony Orchestra of Virginia Beach, will present the third concert of this year's subscription series at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts. This concert, "Sing for Joy", features the Symphonicity Chorus, soloists Emily Stauch and Walter Swan, and the orchestra performing Poulenc's "Gloria". Also performing are the Virginia Children's Chorus, Symphonicity Chorus, soloist, and the orchestra in a performance of John Rutter's "Mass for the Children." Tickets are available in the Sandler Center box office.

Sunday, March 9, 4:00 p.m.- Bellissima Women's Chorus (includes several First Presbyterian choir members). Donations accepted, will go to the group to help defray expenses.

May 13, 12:15 p.m.- Organ "Swell" Concert by Henry Faivre. Tickets available thru the Virginia Arts Festival.
